2020 ANZSCoS Grant Winner
Congratulations to Dr Joanne Nunnerley from the Burwood Academy of Independent Living (BAIL), Christchurch, New Zealand for being the successful applicant for this year’s ANZSCoS Research/Project Grant.
Jo’s project is summed up well in the title – ‘Staying on Track: designing a peer-led telehealth self-management intervention for people with newly acquired SCI and their whānau’.
The selection committee believes that this project will really benefit the ANZSCoS community. ANZSCoS Committee would like to thank all applicants. It was great to see some of the great work being done across various levels and regions in New Zealand and Australia.
Given the postponement of this year’s ANZSCoS Annual Scientific Meeting to 2021 we will announce the launch of the third and final ANZSCoS Research/Project Grant later this year via email and on this website. Please also keep an eye out for a blog updating you on the progress of 2019 grant recipient Kiley Pershouse (Queensland Spinal Outreach Team) whose project was ‘Applying instructional design to create patient education material – a pilot trial on recommendations to reduce cardiometabolic disease risk post SCI’.
