- Summary: Hosted every two years Physiotherapy Conference is PNZ’s largest event for the profession, bringing together members, speakers, stakeholders, and sponsors from across Aotearoa New Zealand and overseas. Physiotherapy Conference 2024 will be held from 6 to 8 September at the new Te Pae Convention Centre in Christchurch. This includes a multi-day programme filled with various streams and session formats, workshops, an exhibition area, and social events.
The theme for Physiotherapy Conference 2024 is Whakatere, literally translated as the act of steering or navigating (a waka). This reflects our united knowledge and sharing at conference to navigate the physiotherapy profession forward. Overlapping topics of Equity Access Outcomes, Living Well Across the Lifespan, Mental Wellness / Whole Person, and Innovation in Practice will be highlighted and collectively reflected in the theme Whakatere.
